No.
1- As far as Bea's concerned, the Pokemon she trains are tough enough to handle that.
2- If you can pitch it, then you can kick it.

3- The right leg looks a little soggy just after the kick.

If I may ask, how do you approach the backgrounds in your works?

I usually go very simple since I'm still fairly inexperienced with detailed backgrounds. Keeping it simple for character art helps the subject really stand out though, I think, especially if you go for complimentary colors (or making more use of their least used accent colors). I feel like this one's is a bit all over the place, though I did make an effort to keep it within Maxx's theme of the "Outback".
