The Line quality and color playfulness is strong with this one.
The posing is "nice". But what you need to aim for is "effectiveness".

Don't be afraid to push the silhouette and play with the arms and legs.
But always do so by keeping Balance and weight in mind. Put simply, do the pose yourself.
If it feels awkward, then it will be awkward on the drawn character as well.

(Especially the ending events. Damn we had everything in this.)

The most recent one I can think of in similar gameplay would be Ashura's Wrath.
Such a powerful action shooter is what made the N64 so epic.
